Punktronic Synthtunes in the classic spirit of Neue Deutsch Welle, Ben Bloodygrave is a one-man synthpunk outfit from Berlin, formerly one half of the duo Bloodygrave & Die Lust. In 2015 he is playing all over Europe in support for his new album “Tanz den Firlefanz” and this is his first solo show in the UK.
Soft Riot is JJD, a new resident to Sheffield from London and Vancouver, and uses an arsenal of synthesizers, mixers, effects and lighting to fill rooms with sinister, minimalist electronic “pop” songs equally influenced by dystopian film, soundtracks, psychedelia and various types of “wave” music.
Dorian and Blurred Girl bring cinedramatic synthpop to their home town of Sheffield with one of their first live performances. Expect richly textured melodies and haunting lyrics with a classic grandeur.
On the decks will be your hosts JJD and Lady Boy.
